First Hiking Trip of the Summer
Updated: Dec 14, 2020
Yesterday, my friends and I went on our first hiking trip of the summer.
It was really nice to get out of the city; I'd been working non-stop since January, so a week off and a hiking day trip was most welcome. We left the city early, all bags were packed, water bottles filled, and sneakers on our feet.
After almost two hours on the road, we arrived at Kananaskis Country. We decided to go for a hike to see the Blackshale Suspension Bridge, the city of Banff, and Bow Falls. We first went to see the suspension bridge, which was about 3 hours of hiking. The hike itself wasn't overly difficult, but it was so worth it!
We got on the suspension bridge on the way through the hike and back, and while it was scary, it was a great experience. After we finished with the bridge hike, we decided to drive to Banff. We stopped by Bow Falls cause I had never been, and it was also a really good experience.
Below are some photos of my trip - I'm definitely going to do this again soon!
